At Vander Dance Academy we provide an all around educational experience that includes the history, technique and styles of each specific dance discipline. Every teacher’s goal at Vander Dance Academy is to inspire each student to surpass their limitations and discover a more confident and passionate individual. By the end of the year each student will have reached a new level of awareness as a dancer and a person.
At the end of the year each student has the choice to perform. This performance is a product of each student’s achievements. Every dancer’s new passion and confidence empowers them to share their talent with the audience as a form of communication. This ability to reveal them as a performer is the true accomplishment of a Vander Dancer, and not a trophy.
Vander Dance Academy is conveniently located in Huntington Station, New York on Jericho Turnpike in a safe, well lit shopping center with plenty of parking. This new state of the art Long Island dancing school has a brand new Maplewood sprung dance floor with strong oak barres to accommodate all ages. Its fresh and updated sound system will have you feeling like you were dancing at a professional studio. In order to maintain a level of comfort throughout the year, Vander Dance Academy is equipped with central air and heat, as well as a spacious waiting room and dressing room.
